Electric World, Room 2 - Stuck

I know where the crowbar is but can't get to it. I've captured the light from the "foxtail" and put it where it belongs. I have the slingshot but can't do anything with it. It looks like something has to go in the slot in the entrance that the statue is placed. I see the professor in the fly trap but can't help him yet.

Suggestions please.

Zoolady, I believe you have to solve the 3 circle puzzles first in order to get everything you need to complete that level. They're a BEAR, but there's plenty of help in the forum for each one. Once you do, you'll be able to enter other rooms where you can use your slingshot and get whatever else you need to free the professor. Good luck, it won't be easy!
