Game continuous freezing

I recently purchased Chicken Chase, but am having problems with it. I will describe what happens:

1. Around about every 40 seconds to a minute the game graphics freezes, but you can still hear music.
2. It remains frozen for about 5 seconds.
3. It closes back to Windows, but then immediately takes you back to the game.
4. Once you are taken back to the game you can play as per normal.

My computer runs Vista with a Pentium D processor and 2GB RAM.

Can anyone help? I have reinstalled the game, but it still happens.

i have the same problem...i love the game but this is quite disturbing. keep installing and un installing. any other suggestions?
