The other day, someone on the forum mentioned having beta-tested the newest game in the Dream Day series. No sooner than I replied to that post, I had it in my e-mail to test as well. For those fans of the series, you won't be disappointed! Most of the game is the same as the last one, it's actually 2 games in one, and you choose your storyline. But the newest twist is the "apartment" level, where you find different items to use in conjunction with each other in order to find your item list for the next level. THAT I really enjoyed. Also new are "bonus" items, when once you find it in that level, you're given a bonus, such as having an item removed from your list or a minute added to the clock. There are only 2 mini-puzzles, so it gets repetitive after a while, but both of them are new. I think it's a pretty good guess that BFG will get this one in, considering they offered all the others.

Played it. The bonus item where it adds a minute to the clock was used in the last Dream Day game. I wish they would change the ring tone on the phone. They did add scenes like finding stuff in the apartment which was nice but quite easy especially after playing simular type scenes in Hidden Secrets - The Nightmare, etc. I told them they needed more then just 2 mini games. I thought there would be a new one in each gift. They had more mini games in First Home. I suggested a couple other little "tweaks" they need to do. The thing I hated the most (as in First Home) was the "Pick A Story". I always just picked any senerio without reading just to move on. LOL I had to click on one item about 10 times before it took. Also, I love the "design it" part, but they always give us such butugly choices to chose from. I got to the point in Dream Day First Home where I ended up trying to create the ugliest furniture possible..... which wasn't hard.
All in all, it's a cute game and a step up from their last game - Dream Day First Home (I did not buy the first 2 games because I didn't like them). If they fix the little problems and add more mini games, I will most likely buy it. What the creators did was copy the last Dream Day game and then added "new" game ideas that are already popular in a lot of the HO games coming out now.
