Tips & Tricks?

[Post New]by cjathome on Mar 22, 09 6:14 PM
I've just discovered this beauty last night but was unsuccessful in finding any tips or tricks, a strategy guide or something to help maneuver through the game.

Anybody know where I can find such a thing?

Thanks in advance
CJ

Yeah, this game has a LOT in it!!

Tips: Capture EVERYTHING - monsters, runes and cities. If it's too hard now, come back when you're stronger. The monsters you learn spells from or can use as mounts. The cities give you gold tithes when you revisit them each week/month/day (one of those lol). The Runes let you forge some pretty cool gear without spending gold. I've managed to make some "Legendary" items (took many many tries hehe).

Some of the monster captures I wouldn't mind having a cheat sheet on hehe. Mostly I've noticed that odd strategies work like having the big skulls blow up some of the extra coins/gems.

I've had this game for MONTHS and I'm still doing quests and the side bits.

Re:Tips & Tricks/ adding your own music

To add your own music in here is pretty simple. What you need is a music file converter, that converts music files such as MP3 or Wavs into OGG files. what I used is a music program called Music Maker 11 Deluxe. once you have such a program or a way to convert the files open up the PUZZLE QUEST folder. click on ASSETS and then Music. Inside there you will see the music files for the game. (before anytype of change i recommend you make a copy of the Music file so you have a good original copy somewhere else.) Simply Replace the song you want to here in this folder. You want to make sure when your replacing the files that the Music name is exactly the same name as the one our replacing. Example if you want the song Billy Jean to play every time you win a battle, name the Billy Jean song Victory just like it spelled in the music folder. And there you have it. Injoy lol.
