Problem getting letters

I am in the second section of the game. I need big red gears and this section only gives out small blue ones. I have one wild, but have been playing for several hours and haven't gotten any more. Anybody have any ideas? Also have to clear a letter everytime a get a new one because all the slots are full. Painful.

Also, is there a way to start over?

Finally, after hours of playing I got three wild gears. The game is a little buggy because it tried to say I still couldn't make words with those letters. I put them in anyway and it accepted the word. Now the frustration level rises a little because I'm still getting primarily blue letters and the word requires two red and two blue. I have two red, and M and an R, so I guess I'll be going at it again until I get another wild gear.

Hi lindap. I am having the same problem. Unfortunitly, no one on the forums will probably answer our game questions.

I am playing under 2 user names and I am stuck in the backyard area with a carp load of blue letters, a blow torch and a blue paint brush. I have even had to throw several letters away when my letter board got full.... several times. I tried a couple times to place blue letters in red slots, but they were rejected. I have been playing for a long time and all I get is blue!

The game is also buggy in the fact that I have to tinker with the options every time I start the game to get the graphic accelleration turned off so the game runs right on my PC.

Why doesn't BF go back to the developers and have them fix it? I am getting VERY frustrated.

I found the same troubles -- trying to get red when all I was getting are/were blue. I was in the 'backyard' and kept getting blues. I then tried one of the holes I had done already in the 'golf course' because I remember getting red ones there. VOILA! Got a red one! So, before I start on a new gopher hole I first go straight to the drill to see what colors I need. I wasted a few paint brushes and once you change the color you can't repaint, but the game is a fun diversion anywho.
