My only complaint is that it ended..I don't think it was too short, it just left me wanting more.. As if I need yet another addiction..sequel...sequel..

You have taken the words right out of my mouth...I don't get a lot of PC time. But when I do I want a good game..and this was one of them and YES it left me wanting more!!!!

The best HOG in a long time, Thorughly enjoyed every engaging minute of it, the art, the music, the spookadelic atmosphere. More than a game, an experience. Reminded me a bit of early Neil Gaiman. I'm a longtime BFG member but this is the first time I've felt strongly enough about a game to post....

This game was much easier than Return to Ravenhurst. Return was the best so far. When is the next PuppetShow coming out? I hope it's a lot HARDER to figure out the clues than this one. Over all... good game.

I purchased game after doing trial. This game is a "walk in the park" after RTR, which I thank all forums posts for help getting through that hair pulling experience! But, I really am enjoying this game. Yes, it is short but worth the money to me! Can't wait for the sequel

Beautiful game. But WOW wish someone had told me how short it was. Finished it before Leno was over! Not worth my money due to length. I do wish there was someway to know how long games are before purchasing.

I thought this game was absolutely stunning. Delightfully creepy. I took my time with it...really looked at every scene. Definitely my kind of game. I love it. I haven't finished it yet because I'm savouring every chapter. And that crazed mechanical freaky puppet-head thingie is fantastic. I wish there were more games like this. The story is really good as well. My favourite game since Madame Fate which in my opinion is the best game yet. In my humble opinion of course.....

Pros: Great graphics, No bugs or lockups (That I know of), Good storyline, Good balance of "Hunt-n-Click puzzles and Brain teaser puzzles.

Cons: Game not long enough. Could find objects needed too quickly.

I feel the objects should have been placed more around the town than where you happened to be. A few more puzzles and pieces would of been nice making the game more challenging.

Overall its a good game.

ok I am totally lost in this game. I don't know what I am supposed to do or find when I zoom in on the puppet girl and cobwebs and stuff in the lobby. Don't get it!

Wow Excellent game! My favorite used to be the Azada games but this one takes top position. Developers did an excellent job on this. Great graphics, great puzzles and enough hidden object areas to make it interesting. Can't wait for more from this group

EcclesCakes wrote:I'm sorry, but as lovely as the game seems to be, I finished half of it in the one hour trial (see BF walkthrough). Further, there is clearly a sequel in mind. I can't support a game of that length, even at $6.99. There are too many fine adventure titles beckoning me, many of them available at BFGames, that are $6.99. I don't like this possible trend.

I agree... Lovely graphics and interesting story, but way, way too short and no replay value. It took me a good bit less than two hours with no skipped puzzles. No way is it good value for money compared with some of the large file games on offer. Very disappointed and certainly not worth the £5 + overseas bank fee it cost me.

I like the game however I am "stuck" and can't seem to get anywhere from here. Not sure what to do. Every door I go through I have finished all the clues, yet when I am in front of the big house and I try to leave that scene, it tells I must finish the investigation. I have 2 objects in TOOLS, a red ruin and the sheet music. I cannot proceed anywhere to use them. Does anyone have help for me?

[I just wanted to say how dissapointed I was. I loved the game but you charged me 7 bucks and I had the game finished in two days... I expected it to be more challenging. Now I am going to really be pickyabout choosing to pay for games again.

I finished the game within 3 hours - delightful experience when you live the story from first to the last minute with a single breath!

But guys, I wanted to catch that evil girl

I hope you give it to me in PuppetShow 2

Big Up for the developers - this is visually the most stunning game I have seen in a long, long time.

With most HOG I bore quite easily and can't wait to find all the objects so I can go on to the next scene but not so with this game. I found myself looking at every inch of the graphics before I even realised I was supposed to be looking for objects or working out what I was supposed to be doing.

This comes a fairly close second to RTR for me - RTR has the edge as it was a longer game but all in all if you took that away they would be on a par.

Definitely a must have...

Blew my Octoberfest credit on this one as soon as I had it in my hot little hand LOL There's just something about the combination of the music, the graphix, the storyline that make you want to keep playing. I finished it posthaste & after just a couple of days I pulled it out again. I love that this is an IHOG that doesn't keep you running for the walkthru & you can figure things out on your own, & also that the % of HOs to interactive elements is more than fair & not just a few HOs tossed into an adventure game. Since the ending was ambiguous I hope that means there might be a sequel coming.

PS> Yes, it does have replay value, as save for the items necessary to advance in levels, the HOs are different this time around.
