I need some help on level 109

I've managed to get fairly close by ignoring the pirate and the bees, demolishing all houses on the right, paying the ogre, getting the mines working, then making my way to the left replacing all the buildings with houses and putting the buildings on the right (with 2 dovecotes).

But I'm just not getting there fast enough.

If I try and pay the pirate, by the time I've built everything I need and start making money for him, time is almost up.

Has anyone made it through this with time to spare?

I cheat on all the puzzles in HOPA games.

lol! No, it just doesn't feel as satisfying if I have to look at instructions. Strangely, I don't feel guilty in coming to the forum for tips though.

Have played this level about 20 times....just can't get there; even with the strategy guide...Help !!!

This is a tight level for timing. I changed the order of things slightly from the game's walk through. I hope this helps...

1. Demolish the 4 cottages. Start with the cottage closest to the leprechaun.
2. As soon as the 1st cottage is demolished, send the 2 workers to the mine.
3. As soon as the last cottage is demolished, pay the glutton and send 2 workers to the 2nd mine. Build a well.
4. Build a market, near the mines. Buy 100 food.
5. Build 2 cabins with gardens and a sawmill.
6. Buy 100 + 100 wood and 100 food.
7. Build the bridge to the dovecote and get 2 doves. Pay the leprechaun.
8. While you are doing step 7, Buy 100 food and 450 wood.
9. Build the top bridge. Build wells. Replace the market and sawmill with cabins & gardens. Hint: Don't demolish the market and sawmill at the same time, since you only have 4 available workers.
10. Buy enough wood for a total of 600 and buy 250 food.
11. Replace the sawmill with a dovecote and 2 doves.
12. While you're doing step 11, Buy 250 + 250 food. (It's 50 too much, but quicker than smaller increments.) Note: I'm buying the last 250 food while I'm getting the 2nd dove for step 11.
