to avoid confusion or disappointment... this Antique Shop is a trilogy

[Post New]by _DD_ on Jun 9, 14 2:02 AM
Note that the game description calls it "the second chapter of the trilogy".

The first part is
Antique Shop: Book of Souls
BFG game page here:

http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/26453/antique-shop-book-of-souls/index.html?src=frmtrygame&osdetect=true

and you might also want to have a look at the reviews there and in the forum.
Mixed reviews, but many HOS seems to be the case, and it ends - not so unexpected - with a "to be continued".

Also, these two parts are out at other portals as CE; I don't know, though, what the bonus contents are.

In any case, this game is not a sequel to "Antique Shop" - the TM game.

well, that includes myself, so I hope the word was not offensive
Welcome, atmmts; glad if it saved you - and others - some searching.

Dear _DD, Will not having played the first game affect this game? Thanks.

dear dollyflower, I'd guess so, but maybe there's a summary at the start of the 2nd part. I'm afraid I'm the wrong person to ask this, as I'm not going to play the trilogy.

I hope someone who played both parts will answer you. If not, you could PM one of the reviewers of the first or 2nd part, who liked it enough to play it.

I obviously have way too many games, I actually have no recollection of the first part of this! Apparently it didn't interest me, I don't even think I tried the demo. Having said that, I will give this one a try. If I like it, I might even give the first one a trial run.....

ETA: Just in case a mod is looking in - I keep getting the forum maintenance page, then when I try again (right afterwards) it's gone..... Either you're doing maintenance or you're not but I wish you'd make up your minds!
