Murder Among Friends - Sink Hole

Someone please answer me on the puzzle of Sink Holes. I have inquired a couple of times on the subject but have gotten no answer. I am really stuck in the mud in this darn puzzle. Reading some of the replies has me confused cause I have never played Minesweeper so it hasn't helped me at all. I love playing the game but can't advance. [b]HELP, HELP, HELP

Each square has a number that indicates how many "bombs" touch that square. You start anywhere & have to figure out which ones are bombs & mark those squares with "flags" so that you don't get "blown up". Then uncover the "free" squares. It is a bit of trial & error (with more errors, of course) to start but this should help you. Even though I play Minesweeper frequently, I had a bit of trouble with this one & had to keep trying. Is the idea here to uncover all the "free"squares?? Thanks...

I sure hope your suggestion helps me cause I have been stuck in the swamp like forever. I feel like I am never going to finish the game although I have really enjoyed it so far. Wish me luck.
