Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor

I can't get the forge fire lit although I have lit the eyes of the gargoyles, went down the slide and waved the wand over the oil hole in the foyer. Nancy keeps saying maybe I need to do something else first. Also as Junior Detective I cannot check off opening the pillars in the foyer although I have opened and arranged the piping of all 6 pillars i/a/w the Mute Book diagram.

Just saying, you dont need to check of the individual tasks in order to finish the game. At the forge, did u get all the other things going, such as wind and anything else you need?
