I asked in another forum. Monika from boomzap said everything is submitted it just has to be tested and submitted to BF.

Supposed to be lots of stuff coming though. World hidden object scenes, levels after 101 and many more quests.

Hope it is soon though.

If I didnt have so much time and money invested, Id have long been done with it. Midnight Castle just got another update. Thats once a week now. If Elephant Games can produce weekly updates, then why cant Boomzap?

I would expect testing to take a week! There is a lot of stuff in ART and we would only complain if they missed some glitches because of inadequate testing.....

Are the World scenes and 101 levels supposed to part of this August update? I thought they said those were going to be on their anniversary celebration in September. Hmm..

Let's see...you test, and there's a glitch. So you fix it, and test. Oops, that last fix affected a line of code about 500 lines away. So you fix it. You test.

Testing takes about a week if everything goes well.

A few years back, someone in the company I was working for took a program from one of our other companies and modified it. They asked me and another employee to come to headquarters and test it. They gave us a series of test scripts. We ran them, and the program ran perfectly. Then we decided to see if we could "break" the program. (This was an expense reporting program, for the record.) We decided that we would do some of the stupid things we had seen our employees do on their expense reports. The results were disastrous. At first the programmers were mad that we hadn't stuck to the scripts, but we explained that we had seen expense reports with this type of error. It went back to testing. In the long run, it was so messy that it was abandoned, because it couldn't be gotten "right".

So give them a little time. Every test can result in something unexpected that has to be fixed. If this forum is like the others I've been participating in, the ones who ask the loudest for something new are the same ones who are quick to complain if something isn't right.

SLOW DOWN...ENJOY the game. That's what it's for! And when the update is ready, take your time with it. Quit trying to blow through the whole thing so you'll have to ask for something new the next day.

There is really no game to enjoy right now.......all there is to do are the stupid auction quests and giving out keys. I'd be happy to go slow........not happy that the game has been at a HALT for far too long now.

Thanks Ekstra - you hit the nail on the head. ....... I am looking forward so much to the gradual unfolding of this fascinating game and am saddened by the constant criticism.

Thoroughly disgusted with this game and the developer. Other games seem to put out updates on a regular basis.........but not so with this one. And in between events, there really is nothing to do. Call it complaining or whatever you like......they need to start putting out updates more often if they want to keep players interested in the game!

I am really not sure. She just said that it was just waiting to be confirmed and tested by BF and that they had lots in store for this upcoming update including World HO's so I would assume it would be in the next one we get. Hopefully that will be before September.

You know, I read most of the posts in the forum so I can:

-keep current

-get glitch alerts

-to get a feel for what fellow players are experiencing

-find new friends

other than that, I look for genuine, off the wall, thoughts that make me laugh. You, strandman, made my day.

Slow Down? Ive been stuck on last level since January. Thats going on 8 months of waiting patiently. I think if they test something that long and cant get it right, maybe they should scrap it and start something new. And some of you that know me might say its because I spent money to get ahead. But thats not the case either because in the Thanksgiving 2013 update I lost most of my game progress and had to start over. I havent spent a penny on it since. Spending money did NOT get me ahead. 8 months is way too long to have to wait to advance to next level. And what about all the exp Ive lost over those 8 months. No one has said anything about giving me credit for all those points.

I'm going to dream up the story line. Antique Road Trip, Roadside Attractions : Dino-Land! pre-historic find-its. Lizard's and plant life from another time with volcano, tar-pits and primordial Ooze ! inside there would be snack stands and souvenir kiosks. Stay-tuned. =v=

Don't we want one that is right when it rolls out and not full of glitches. This one is also going to try to decide where the people who are at level 101 should be so that in itself is a big issue. They also have at least 3 more coming soon areas. So if they open one or two of them plus anything with the museum that is going to be a big update. Monika from Boomzap said that most of their programmers got taken away from this game for other games and only 4 or 5 were left so doing all the programming and fixes is pretty daunting for those people, and to say they already submitted it to Big Fish, Big Fish wants to test it after the last problems with the last update. So be patient. We are not having as much fun as we would like granted but it will come, I am sure.

Hi everyone!

Somewhere over the is right! I completely understand the frustration with having to wait so long for an update for Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin', and while it doesn't amount too much, I do apologize for having to wait.

We're all anxiously awaiting the release of the next update. The mods all have their fingers ready and poised over their keyboards to post the announcement for the update when it's released to see who can post it the fastest. While the mods aren't given the information about the specific date for when the update will become available, we do know that our specialists and Boomzap are working hard to get the final touches completed on the update so it can finally be released.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, and hopefully the update comes over the soon!

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond to these concerns. I am among those who are confident that everyone is working really hard and that when the update comes it will be well worth the wait.
