cake mania

i'm doing the Egypt one almost to the end and I need $750 and can't get close. I've been playing for a week. I have all gray appliances, pink shoes, refrigerator, everything except the phone. and 1 upgrade on one froster. I don't understand what makes the mummies come and what the black cat stands for. I've tried deleting the game and reloading and still can't do the back to main, rewrite, play and continue thing. I still end up with the same amount of money. Can someone please help me.
