If Mayan Prophecies aren't your thing, and you don't mind a bit of voodoo. A great game is available as the Daily Deal.
Its called Deadtime Stories and is a true gem of the HOPA game style..
Even Poodlebear approved for those that remember her.
Well worth investigating.

Did Deadtime run for you the first loading. I seem to have a blockage, it attempts to open and then nothing.

I purchased and played the game without any technical problems (and no walkthrough) when the game was first released. I see from the game's forum that a new build was released and I suppose you have downloaded that one. I'm in the dark as to why the game won't run for you, except maybe it doesn't support your OS, it was released in 2010 after all.
