Cant achieve gold on 8-1. tips??

I can get the cup but not the gold. Anyone have tips for this?? it is the one where you have to make $1000 and satisfy 20 customers. they have no employee for the drinks, ice cream side, if I hire an employee, I sure am not to achieve the gold. I try to make burgers only but can't get that to work unless I'm doing it wrong.
