Mouse in hos chapter 4

Is anyone else having problems finding the mouse in the HOS in chapter 4? It is supposed to be in lower left hand corner in a vase thing but either not there or too low under the inventory bar to get. Help!

I am playing on an iPad, and if you enlarge the picture, the hidden area at the bottom shows up. I don't know if that works on the PC version, though.
