If you start playing this game and you're thinking what the heck! This music sounds exactly like another Match-3 from a few years back. You would be correct -- if ............

Yeah, this is that one, except this is made up all girly-girl, complete with bratty little brother, a sticker book, and lotsa pink. Pink everywhere. Tiles are wrapped candy, lollipops, pandas, ice cream cones, and since I only played the 1 hour trial, who knows what other girly tiles are coming.

You might wonder, what similarities other than music? Ditto the unique way it sets the tiles from bottom to top. Ditto powerups. Ditto the bosses you have to beat every 10 levels or so. Ditto the spider that skitters randomly around the board spinning webs over tiles. Ditto the 'help' screen.

Heck, pretty much everything same except tiles are not fruit, the theme is not enchanting (nor islands), and the timer has been replaced by a bonus gauge.

Yes, the one I'm referencing is here on BigFish, since reviews must refrain from mentioning other games, I didn't include the game name here. If you want the name of that game, feel free to PM me.

I did play this entire trial and although I'm in the gray-hair set, not the pink set , I'm going to get this one. If it has as many levels as the fruit-themed game does, then I know it offers enough play to be worth a punch code come next Monday. Plus the benefit of no timer works for me as my mousing speed declines.

The biggest plus for me is that the music takes me back a few years to a slightly better place. Feels sorta silly to buy the same game repackaged in pink just to get rid of the timer, but what the heck, I'm getting it.
