I started playing this hidden objects game about two years ago when I was recuperating from surgery. At first I found it frustrating to wait for the scenes to become active again but as the game progressed more scenes became available and after a certain level it was much more fun. I like how the developers continuously mix things up and toss in some additional challenges. I really enjoy the spring, halloween, and christmas events!
My biggest disappointment with this games is that I recently made it to level 76. Guess that's the end?!!!! I'm not sure how long everyone's been waiting for an update but since just about all of my "friends" are stuck at the same level, I'm guessing it's been a long time? Seriously...I loved playing this game during my lunch break or when I had a few minutes to spare. I played on a daily basis. Now I'm just frustrated. The developers added a new mini-challenge but come on - spend the time getting the rest of the game updated. You can't just leave us all hanging. There must be plans since our good friend John is already at level 121.
I would give this game 5 out of 5 stars especially because the graphics are outstanding. But I can't give more than 3 because I'm feeling cheated at this point.

Hi all,
I just wanted to say that in order to really appreciate all MC has to offer, you have to give yourself a reasonable amount of time to play. If you rush too much you run the risk of overextending your resources. There is definitely a different feel to the game when you are working through levels vs waiting for an update. Spend your time wisely. Do the rounds to prepare, or craft, or puzzles etc. What makes MC so special is the myriad of options for you to develop your own gaming style.
I left the game 2 1/2 years ago mainly out of frustration. I wanted to be further along, wanted more coins, more everything and that Ol' Bow Figurine was not hearing any of it...I returned last October because I was curious about the game.
I restarted my game on a tablet this time not a PC. I finished all content to date, in a little less than 10 months. I play every day but not all day long. I have enjoyed the experience tremendously. As you progress it does take more resources. I expected the costs to ramp up as I achieved more. Some levels took weeks, some mere days, some hours. My advise to anyone frustrated with their progress, walk away for a bit. Games are not sweat factories, they're labors of love. I have to say as a FTP game, MC stands mountains above it's nearest competitor. In all my game play, I have never paid for diamonds or coins. Please don't rush yourselves into a corner of woe over it.
Take your time and define your own goals for the game. Believe me when I say there are some levels I literally skidded over the finish line of a level by the seat of my pants. You don't have to be a millionaire to finish but you do have to embrace the fact that this game at it's core is a HOG. Do the rounds, do the rounds etc is the honest truth.
Regarding avatars...some are definitely better than others...I happen to really like this last batch.
Good gaming wishes to all..

Great game, I've played it pretty regularly since I downloaded it a year ago. It's so totally addictive!!
I love that the game changes theme throughout the year to coincide with Halloween (still waiting on that theme this year?!), Christmas, spring etc and that you get special bonuses from these special playing themes.
Although I've found the further on I've become, (now on level 38) the harder it is to do anything.
The wait times on the rooms once you've been in is sooo ridiculously long. Quests focus in the same areas, so it can take an age just to complete them if you don't have any energy for an amulet, also only 20 energy balls a day are silly low if you have to wait so long for rooms to become active again...
The plain stamp, or lack of, is starting to drive me insane.
Its taken me three/four days of after work play just to get 6 stamps!!! That's with playing every room, sometimes twice if they've activated again in the hours it's being played. I'm now in a situation where I have all my craft items, but need 30...30(!!!!!) plain stamps.
You can play nearly every room and not even get 1 plain stamp. Your pets NEVER seem to find them, even though they're meant to find what you need.
If I need 30 plain stamps I don't need them to bring me x amount of blue, green or purple!!
Unfortunately this is now putting me off the game. There seems to be little reward of what you actually need.
30'stamps is going to take me forever, and the following quest ALWAYS seems to require more of what you've just cleared out of.
It would be better if it wasn't so difficult to acquire certain items if they are needed in such vast quantities. How else are people meant to get them?
Bulk buying gems is overpriced for the amount you get and for the amount you need to spend in craft sections.l depending on how many you need...
I'd like to see another addition of something like the fortune wheel, air ship or game table somewhere. It would be nice to mix up playing rooms with other games a bit more.
Aside from the small niggling things, compared to other similar games, this in my
Opinion has the better graphics, user interface and has managed to hold my attention longer than any other game I've downloaded.
