Certainly seems that way doesn't it. I hadn't really thought about it, but it make sense.

The thought has occurred to me a couple of times, after replaying. I swear, he gives me the creeps.

"Unlock the doors"
screaming
"this is not your home"
"can't you see?"
"you're the key"(not sure if I heard this one right, but I'll be playing again, and keep an ear out for that)
Other sounds-creaking sounds as if someone is following you as you explore through the house.

These voices that you're hearing........are they in specific rooms?

I'm replaying Ravenhearst for the second time in a week.....just to hear the voices. I'm not hearing any anywhere (except in my head).

They just randomly say things. I had the volume up kinda loud last night. You should be able to hear them as you're playing through the game, though

You may need to turn the music down low. The voice is quite soft and you might not be able to hear it if the music is very loud.

Had a thought-

What is our tie to the mystery? Why do the spirits and the Queen keep coming to us (as the MCF Detective)?

What is our tie to Ravenhearst? Could we be one of the "twins"?

I just redid ravenhearst I have some questions. Bear with me okay

One of the books in Charles study has the title Spirit Writing. In the master bath on the mirror it says something like'This is our house"
Another book says How to kill your wife. Does he have a wife after Emma is killed

When you get to the end who is adding the pages to the book emma's dead right? Who is drawing the pictures of her being killed?
Is it Emma from the grave?
Why does Charles age so much in just a few months? Look at what he looks like in the garden giving Emma the ring and then when he is standing with her and the axe????

My hub didn't think that white prosa....(not even gonna try to sp) Wouldn't take but once to kill her. And the bottle in his pocket could blow him up. You have to be very careful. But there is a bottle of Mercury. That would do it.

Who is the person looking down from the roof of the tree house with the flowers in her hair??

On Charles desk I think it says not crazy. Who?

So why do they have a survellance room??? Watching for ghosts??

I think it is in the garage/cable car space. There is a frame of a family on a steam boat with two children??? Twins?

Okay last one. Why when you click on the map the rooms are emtpy and than they are full of junk?
Almost forgot one of the books was titled nekromancy. I looked it up and a got a bunch of War of Warcraft sites and the words Wrath of nekromancy. Does anyone have a screen shot to check my spelling? Ok now I am done.

Hey Guys
There is another thread called Ravenhearst Whispers in the games forum under mcf ravenhearst. You won't believe what people have heard.

Hmmm that would be an interesting twist indeed....it would explain why Rose is trying to talk to us.

giggyann - wow - you had a lot of thoughts on this game...whew.

necromancy according to dictionary. com is

1. a method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art.
2. magic in general, esp. that practiced by a witch or sorcerer; sorcery; witchcraft; conjuration.

So...this tells us that Charles was...well...I would say into bad stuff, but, perhaps it did not start out that way, I mean, he seems okay in the beginning of the game, so, maybe, something happened during one of his conjurations...or whatever.

I thought the same about Charles's looks. He seemed young at first then at the end the drawings don't even look like him.

When they are at the funeral why does he says he is be alone in this bedeviled house. It wasn't even finished yet. He didn't move in until later?
