White Wolf-Wolf Disk

I have played this game 2 times and when I try to find the wolf disk I cannot find it. I have done everything on the list, have the proper equipment to use and found the right location. When I click on that location all I get are arrows. I have been on the other website and asked and no one has any idea why it isn't working. I even followed a walkthrough one time and still it won't come up. Any suggestions?

The wolf is the treakiest to find , you have to use the Geiger counter that you found at the shack. Click on the Geiger counter in inventory, see the reading at the bottom left of screen. Go down to the main floor. Go right and go to the left side of the kitchen door. See a high reading by the dinosaur bones stool-decor beside the stand with the lamp. You get another positive reading on the display table. Go down to the basement, go forward after the stairs. Get another high reading, after the stairs to the CELLER DOOR, face the stairs and get the highest reading. Click on the bottom step. Open the bottom step and get the Wolf disc.

how do you get to the cellar stairs. I've tried from outside and in the basement. Took the geiger all over the place and got all the readings. Played "frog and goose" til all four corners are lit. Poor Isis is getting tired running that stupid maze to no avail. I want to adopt her

ollie keeps telling me I dumped the laundry bag before all rooms were clean. I've done all the rooms, even the vacant ones. What else can I do? Is this what's preventing me from accessing the cellar stairs to get the wolf disk?

You approach the cellar from the basement. Go towards the steps in the middle of the basement, not where you come downstairs but further in when you walk in the basement. Nancy says something like not having her coat on before going outside. Use your geiger counter there at those steps. It should be clicking like crazy. Click on the step to get the disk.
