How do I remove the table legs?

No matter how hard I try the screen will not change, Once the screws are showing and legs are laying flat I would have thought they were off but the game doesn't seem to think so. therefore I cant progress. Please help, somebody because I am addicted lol.

The only thing I remember about it is wiggling the legs until they came off. Unlike looking for objects I'd have to redo the whole game to get to the part about the legs (at least up to the kitchen). I'll see if I can get there and let you know what I find.

O.K. I redid the dining room. When I wiggled each of the old legs enough to remove them, they disappeared from the scene. Then you sand, then paint the new legs. Then you attach the new legs to the table. The scene where the legs are laying beside the table - those are the new legs and you're supposed to drag them onto the table.

Windrose is right. How sweet of you to go back and do that. I love the characters in this game, but the crafts -- not so much!

Well it wasn't much work. I thought I'd have to replay the whole game up to the dining room. But when I opened it I saw my granddaughter had a half completed game and the dining room was one of the rooms she had already done - so I just redid it.

Thank you very much for your help it was really nice of you. What I had to do was restart the kitchen level again and it worked as you said first time so I figured it was some kind of fault.
