iv done everything there is to do but the totem poles what elses is there to do im running out of kids i have 150 people and no kids they die but them i get one kid but the kid grows up fast what do i do know, please help. and just to let some of you know there are triplets in this game i had a set of them.

You get a totem pole for each elder in your village. In order to be considered an elder, they must be a master in any 3 of the 5 skills. Master Farmer and Master Scientists are the easiest skills to get as they are always available. (always food to harvest and research table always open)

You can also get a master doctor fairly easily as you can make the stew that makes people ill, and have the doctor(s) heal them. They'll also gain a small amount of healing skill by "studying" the herbs.

Master Builders is a lot harder to get once you've built everything. The only way to get it is to have them go around and "fix" everything. If there's nothing to fix, it'll say "examining". Not sure if "examining" builds their skill or not.


I've found that it is easier for women to become master parents than for the men. If the woman has 4-6 kids, she'll usually be a master by the time her last child turns 2. If it says under dislikes "kids", it will take much longer. Not sure how many children a man has to father to become a master parent, but it's a lot. As far as I know, there's no age limit on the males for breeding, but the females can't have kids after age 50, I think. Don't remember for sure.
