Special item in "Magician's Site"

I think I've been doing OK finding the "special" items in most of the sites. In the Magician's world where is the "special item"? I'm not having much trouble findinng the wands, combs, clubs, etc but I just can't locate the "special" thing that might allow me to enter "the Outhouse". Is this place even worth visiting? I think this is my most favorite of all MCF games! I love the small puzzles between suspects. I solved the fortune puzzle the very first time I did it but now can only get the first 2 levels done in the time allotted. I think this MCF is more addictive than the others!

A complete list of mystery items and their locations. For those who do not want to spoil the game, you are warned.

1) Magician area, not Larry himself: padlock on the water escape cage.

Thank you all for your help. It's just that the "?" appeared by Larry later on in the same game; I thought there was a second item.

I've found all the secret items but the last two are in the second to last one (Dante).....I think there is a secret item in the Tunnel of Love, but I can't figure out what it is. I've tried clicking on everything. You obviously have to find them all before you get to Dante to go to the John. If someone has figured it out, please let me in on the secret!

If you don't see a "?" on the site map for the Tunnel of Love, there isn't one. There is a list of all the objects under Mystery Items. This is a quote from it.

Yes, I've found Dante's horns and the Picture gallery....but they seem to be the last two and they leed to the last puzzle, which seems to be to late to get to the final unlocking(the John). I keep a list of all carnies and open them in order waether it is needed for the number of clues or not. I just can't figure out how to get there before the Tans!!!????

Once you complete the final puzzle, begin a new game using the SAME player name. Found mystery items will be remembered and unlocked attractions will be randomly available. Most people have had to play at least a second game to get to the outhouse. I didn't get it until game 3.
