weird language glitch

I downloaded the trial of this game, and I actually like it very much. I am having a weird problem with the text though. Aboput half of it is in plain, ordinary English, and the other half is distorted and coming through as weird symbols such as @[~> etc. almost as if someone's code broke and caused the English text to become ascii symbols. The game itself plays fine, but the buttons and the help pop-ups are in this broken text, so I have no clue what I am doing, although I am apparently winning each round, and it has a lovely graphical consequences page where a tree broke free of it's chains and finally produced the green crystal before I ran out of time.

I am debating on buying this one. I love Match3 games and probably own about 1/2 the ones BFG has out - maybe more than half, but if this is a problem with the computer rather than the game, I will not be able to fix it anyway (not my computer) so no point in getting it until I have my own computer back.

try contacting customer support, I'm sure they'll be happy to look into it.
