when do the kids get old enough to work?

one of my kids is now 18 and i was wondering how old they have to be before they can work

Congratulations! I'm told that they go off to college at 18 yrs old. Later in the game when one parent dies, you have the option of choosing one to come back home. I'm not sure if one or both parents have to be deceased for that to happen. I'm still learning this game but so far I know that like in the former VV series, kids start to do more at the age of 14 yrs. They can cook, clean, and etc. The younger ones can do a little cleaning (such as scrubbing stains off of the floors), reading emails, and even selling collectables online.

I've got ages to wait then

They go off to college, then when one parent passes, only one descendant is chosen to live in the house and start the next generation in their parents house.

they can even heat up their on food from the age of two, which is slightly disturbing...

Yes, I was also concerned that my first oven fire came just after my 2 year old was heating his meal........kids and cookers, eh?!?!

yeah I also have a four year old who loves playing in the workshop unsupervised, I'm just waitint for the virtual social worker to come knocking

They go off to college between the ages of 18 and 19. Your kid will go soon.

yeaah jamz2 te usally go off to cllege at 18 or 19

they work when they are the head of the house and they go off to college and when the paretns die and if u pick them then they work.

My twin 18 year old girls ar estill at home and not in collage and its weird cuz there running the house telling every one what to do is that normal
