Not happy with ending

Hi all, just joined up and wondered how thick im going to sound.Ive played Madam Fate several times now, but still (although ive unlocked the W.C) do not get the opertunity to use it? Also, the fourth card in the last puzzle (my fortune) cant get it to turn? any ideas?

To see the Outhouse, you need to completely finish the game, then start again using the same player name. All your previously found mystery items will be already found, and you will get the unlocked special attractions in random levels as you play through.

I'm not sure I understand your question about the 4th card. If you get the scene in the phone booth, then you have finished.

The 4th card may be the Death card in Mme. Fate's hand as she slumps over the table. We never see it turn over on the puzzle portion.

Thanks for the explanation. I was feeling a little "thick" myself. Loved the game, but the ending seemed, well, UNFINISHED. And the phone booth seemed out of place. Why didn't the game designers finish with something that had to do with the carnival. Like maybe the outhouse or the tunnel of love. Why were those two things even mentioned?

In a sense the ending is UNFINISHED. It is a total cliffhanger and a set up for the next MCF game. The phone booth was a device to have the queen tell the Master Detective and us that she must return to Ravenhearst. The TOL, Outhouse and Kitty Carnival are just additional areas for us to explore and find clues in.

While I understand and sympathize with your frustration, I think that the "to be continued" was very well done. I went back over MF and read all the little clues in the scenes and puzzles and am awed by BFG's fantastic creation.

I agree with Oreo ~ it was a great way to get back to Ravenhearst. I thought that the ending was very clever and I can't wait until Ravenhearst II comes out.

Oreo, do you mean that you went all the way BACK to MCF in Huntsville and found hints to M. Fate?! That is awesome! Care to share your findings Master Detective Oreo? Please? With a cherry on top? :)

Sorry, but I can't take that much credit! I meant that I went over the Madame Fate game. There is a script message around the Reveal your fate puzzle and the clues of the cards that are turned in the game. They hint at the connection to Ravenhearst.

There may be other hints but to be honest I've been busy recently w/other games. I doubt that they hinted in other games but it might be fun to look and see.

I didn't even notice that there was a message around the "Fate" puzzle. Doh n' duuuh on my part ~ I am such a knob at times. Thanks for the clarification!
