right click on mac

[Post New]by hexefish on May 11, 09 7:26 PM
Please, can anyone help me? I used to use my ctrl key + click to make right click with my mac, but when I tried to do so in the part of the game where I should rotate the sculpture it doesn´t make a thing. Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi hexefish and welcome to the Pond!

What sculpture are you talking about? If it's one of the items you paint and assemble to redo the house it usually tells you to click to rotate. Are you getting that? If not, you've probably missed some maddeningly small area to paint or sand. I don't have a mac. Have you tried the All Game Forums? You might want to try the mac thread and PM someone who has a mac. It might take a day or so to get your question answered if the game forum doesn't have the answer.

Hope you get an answer.

I'm also stuck with this problem. I tried Goomb's suggestion for system preferences, but there's no option at all for secondary clicks. Has anyone found a different option, since Ctrl-click isn't working?

Edit: D'oh! Where's my brain today? I needed to change the trackpad setting, not mouse. Thanks for the original tip -- the game is working for me again.

Hey all, I tried what goomb said (preferences, left side "primary" right side"secondary" and it worked. Just wondering though goomb, do I ever need to put that back?

Thanks by the way, again.

Hi, I'm running on a PowerBook G4 and I don't have the same Keyboard options in my system preferences. Any other ideas on how to "right click" to rotate Atia's statue pieces?
Thanks!

If you check the user's manual/help screens for your powerbook - it should tell you how to do the equivalent of a "right-click". I have a tablet pc which uses a stylus/pen instead of a mouse and to "right click" I have to press the pen to the screen an hold it there (as opposed to just "tapping" it).

okay... I am having the exact same problem. However, my computer is a newer mac and it is not a laptop. Therefore, when I clicked on system preferences, the two finger secondary click thing is not an option. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do? (Control+click is not working.)

I'm having the same problem and none of the suggestions work with my G5 Mac either.

I just this minute came here to report this problem and I see others have run into it too. I have to right click button on my mouse. I can't get the pieces of the statue to do anything.

I hope someone comes up with a solution. Going into preferences isn't working. I'm on an iMac G5.

I ended up just giving up and stealing the mouse from my daughter's computer to complete the puzzle. Good luck all.

I'm having the same problem!! It is the sculpture that was broken by Capt. Bob or whomever and you find the pieces and them assemble them. When I try to drop them in place, they just go back where they were and the right click on my Mac doesn't work - I may try the ctrl key thing, but if that doesn't work, there's a glitch!!

I just got to that level of the game where you have to reassemble the statute that is broken and I am unable to rotate the statute pieces, tried the contol and click key, did not work, checked preferences, have no options there. Whenever someone gets the information please post for all to see. I am thinking of contacting Bigfish Games and see if they can get it to work otherwise give me a credit for the game.

I am having the same problem with the ctrl + click not working on rotating the statue pieces. I like the game so far but if we can't get a fix then I'm with baroncafe that Bigfish should refund our money. I hope if anyone gets the answer to this problem they post it here.

I'm joining the move to get BigFish to refund our money (or game credits). I've tried
every suggestion in the entire game forum, with no luck. The game is stuck at the broken
statue. I have an iMac4 and a MacBook Pro and I've tried each one with a variety of mice.
Still no response to the puzzle parts. Help!
