Hey all! I have just started playing this game and it looks awesome so far!! I am just stuck at the start. I have gotten to the part where I need to find "that annoying elf". She disappeared after I talked to her in town and now I cannot find her again. Can anyone please help?

no worry she hasn't been very far.... go back to your hut and then head west and explore a bit the woods around.... you should find her (if you haven't already ^^)

Ah, this powder is to be found in the woods..... look for red (rusty looking) stones ^^

 A bit of a picklement here.... 
Ok, a little background info for starters---won my trial combat, got a full complement of companions ( Peekaboo Spark, what a cutie), off to Rillian to go to school, idjit Random wants to play Intrepid Explorer and talks everybody into sneaking away into the forest....
How does one escape the Escort Guards!?!
I just battle them over and over with no escape nor respite until I had to engage Task Manager to get out of the game.
The sole ray of sunshine was meeting Ean at the pool. Sighhh...help please, I'm hollering Uncle.

You have to escape them, so run away from them following the red line (see picture) and jump at the 2 spots shown on the pic.

Could someone sorta explain what kind of game this is? I tried to find it at home last nite and couldn't, yes I used the link. Is it a sim type game like FS? It sort of sounds like one

But the link takes you to the game page. 3 Stars of Destiny is an RPG.

Yes it's an adventure game but more specifically it belongs to the RPG genre.

OMG...so sorry and WHATADAY. 
Many blessings, Alan, for your prompt reply...scant minutes after posting my help needed message, my daughter rushes in needing me to watch the 2mos. old grand-daughter (fresh from getting her shots) so she could catch another appointment for herself...my 5 darling 8 week old grand-kittens finally learned how to escape their laundry basket...and my down directional button locks up on my keyboard...
I finally catch all the kittens and make them a new nest in my bathtub, Daughter arrives to get the grand-child and I get out of the Walmart with not too many extra (and unneccessary) groceries mixed in with the new keyboard.
It is by now, late in the afternoon and my Son says, "Ma, watcha doin?"...I explain...Son says, "I can help"...I say, help yourself...Son takes over my game....
There ain't no justice.
LOL...must laugh...
