code for the safe on the boatdeck

Im stuck trying to work out how to decode the safe. Someone pleasde help

I have accidently somehow solved the safe code, so no help needed now thanks from a very novice and nervous newcomer

The captain said the code had no repeating numbers. So eliminate those. Then look at the keyboard and determine which number keys have the most dirt on them and you should be able to decipher which of those sticky notes applies.

I know you found the answer, I just wanted to explain how to go about it logically. I happened to have replayed it last night so your timing couldn't have been better.
