One thing that I appreciate:
When I want to exit completely out of the game, I don't have to hit are you sure?" followed by confirm, followed by 300 checkmarks & OKs.

I really do appreciate that for times when I'd like to just make a quick getaway.

I bought and played every Monument Builders game in the series - until the last few, when the developers introduced the infernal stars that you have to spend to acquire abilities. For me, that "feature" has ruined what had been a charming and very enjoyable series. I struggled through the first one, and didn't even finish the second one that introduced that element.

I see from one of the reviews on the game's page that this game also features the stars - so for me, it is a no-buy. If the developers ever return to the original concept, without stars, I would happily buy every game they make!

I loved the original gameplay and the original tidbits, and I miss those parts of the game. But my gaming time is limited, and I won't be spending it on games made needlessly frustrating.

The game is pretty much what you'd expect from the Monument Builders series. The 'stars' system is used in this episode; you earn 1, 2 or 3 depending on how fast you complete each level, and you can them use them to purchase helpful utilities such as automatic delivery, or specialised workers. A major gripe with this game though is that while it depends on some frantic mouse clicking to try and complete the levels in the best time, the clickable area for each item and building is far to sensitive and specific. You may have to click 2, 3 or in same case more times in order to achieve your aim as it doesn't register unless within a ridiculously precise area which is incredibly frustrating! You would think this problem would have been ironed out during beta testing... Those of you with weaker wrists (and higher blood pressure...) may want to give this one a miss.

In all of the Monument Builder games, there is a GEM issue. People tend to use their gems to complete levels in time, and run out of them fast. In only one of these games, we were allowed to buy gems with our points. Most people do not like having to replay levels to obtain more gems. The levels are very challenging without using the gems and often three stars are not attainable. Otherwise I enjoy these games. When they first came out they were full of glitches and I had to stop playing them for a while.
