I'm "flippin'" out here. If this is the crystal ball puzzle where the man and woman have thoughts of an item and have to fling a similar item into the air then I need help with the puzzle. If this isn't the right discussion then I need help to find that instead.

I keep flipping the similar item from HER hand to match HER thoughts and nothing happens. I do the same from HER hand to HIS thoughts and nothing happens. Likewise with his hand and thoughts. Anybody have any ideas?

Never mind. The power of the post strikes again. I didn't realize they had to eat it...so to speak.

BTW Mr. Flounder, you are by far too clever.

This seems rather complicated. Any tips? I have all the letters I just don't know what to do with any of them.

This is the one that says "Harmony is" right? You need to find which letter on the left exactly balances which one on the right. Write down the letters on the right, in the order that they balance the letters of Harmony. Then put the word made with the right hand letters on the bottom (which will take a bit of experimentation to figure out how to do - I think you might have to use the telegraph machine to get the letters to show up).

(yes this is just a hint really - don't want to give it all away!)

OK, when I touch a letter, it shows up in the first box on the bottom. From there, I can move it box by box. I don't know what you mean by "balancing" the letters on the right and the left. Do the letters need to go on the pole first?? I can't get them there, they just go to the bottom for me. HELP!!

There are 2 sets of letters:
1. Blocks upper left & right spell 2 words: harmony & _________? These are the letters that if you balance them with the respective letters from "harmony" will balance and turn the little light just below the carnie green briefly. I just did the first to balance the "h".

2. Are the morse letters on the paper. When you click on one it appears in the bottom squares and you can move them by clicking on the round buttons in between. Start at the end of the word you made above and enter/move each letter till you spell the word that completes the sentence: harmony is _________.

try clicking on everythng. there is a piece of paper, and a ripped piece ofpaper. put them together and they make a switch. letters pop down, like emilsub. rearrange them to fill in harmony is-
the first three letters?
sub. just to give you a hint.

The H doesn't balance with an M, it balances with an S.

After you see the letters hanging down, you don't actually have to balance them. Use the telegraph (click, click, click, ...) until all the letters to the side near the bottom appear. Look a the large ball letters near the top and figure out which word they can spell. Put that word into the squares at the very bottom by clicking the little letters and using the small buttons to move the letter from one square to the next.

You match one round letter with a square letter on the other side. Note that on the board is says "HARMONY IS ____" notice that little word "is?" That means the squares at bottom are like a wheel of fortune puzzle for something harmony is. Use the square letters and rearrange them to make a word that fits. I'm NOT giving that away! ; ) Do in your head or on paper.
Now it's easy to match the proper letters when hanging them on the guy's balance bar. But here's the catch-- GO BACKWARDS.

Start with the last letter of the word at the bottom because the buttons will let you move the letter from left to right but not from right to left (at least, I couldn't figure out how). I kept somehow losing the letter, it would disappear, until I figured out that I should start with the last letter, move it to the right, then the next to last letter. Like that.

Want anymore hints? I hate giving it all away. You'll be proud when you get it! : )

Nevermind -- figured it out...

I only have sixteen letters on my pad (to the left) to populate the bottom word... is this correct? I thought I should be able to spell out the 'balance' word with the letters emilbus, but they're not available on my little pad...

Am I going in the wrong direction here?

Use the telegraph some more, until the area for the small letters on the left is filled.

here is for those who dont know what to do.
1. combine the two torn pieces. press.
2. on the left several hanging letters (squere). on the right several letters (right) hangins as well.
3. put each time one squere letter in one side of the balance and one round letter in the other side of the balance and watch what happen.
if the letter fall down it means that it is not match. try another combibation.
if it match you will see the letters which spells HARMONY each time one letter flickering. write it down. keep trying (hint - you should do it as shown in the upper left two seals show that squere = round).
(e.g. H squere + S round = H. the H in "HARMONY" should be flickering).
in this way you should find which combinations makes the word HARMONY and you find a new word (e.g. the first letter of the this new word should be "s" because it is equal to the word H that flickered).
write down one after anothe (up to down) each letter and find the new word.
if you have the right word which also means harmony, click on the machin in the right side quickly and all the letters of ABC will appear
in the page at the left side.
put the letters of the new word one by one starting the last letter and good luck.

You are looking for the fat man.

Anybody have any ideas?

vikkij56, welcome to the forum. The trick to this puzzle is timing. Example--the woman thinks about a TV. When the TV appears in the man's hand, you click on it. Here is where the timing comes in. You click again - on the woman this time, and the woman's tongue will come out of her mouth. The object is to time throwing the object so she can catch it with her tongue and swallow it. This is the Franco the Excessive puzzle so you can go there to read some of the posts. Below is the one from Lord Kelvan who saved my sanity several times during some of these puzzles -- Good Luck
...
Lord Kelvan's comments: You don't have to be fast. Just work on one person at a time. Click the item that the other wants, then click the other person (I think I click near the head). The tongue will come out if that person isn't in the middle of throwing something. Timing is tricky; I ended up counting slowly until I figured out about how long I had to wait before doing the tongue click in order to catch the item.
