Getting past the Clock Tower

I've entered all the numbers - nothing works. Just keeps saying it's not the right combination. There's no "hint" function here. Has anyone figured it out? If I can't get past this, might as well get a refund. It's getting on my nerves. And yes, I did purchase it - it's not on a trial basis.

You also need to put in the symbol that shows on the clocktower message - like a sun, or windowshades, or a moon.

I have played the game a number of times. When I get the roman numerals right, I have no trouble.

If this doesn't help, please PM me with a screen shot of your clocktower directions, and another of your clocktower with the right numbers pushed and i will see if I can help you.

Hi there. Be sure you click the numbers going from lowest to highest. At the beginning I used to click on them going up and down as they appear. Mistake!. Good luck!

Hi I've gotten past the clock tower in the first game. But, when I started the next level, no matter how I put the numerals and symbols it says it's wrong. I feel dumb, cause I had no trouble first time around.

Hi, Bookwoman. Are you sure you are putting the numerals from lowest to highest? 1, 2, 3, etc.and not the way they are placed on the map, up and down. And then the symbol. ? If you are doing this and nothing happens, then it must be a glitch. Sorry I cannot help you any other way.

I read the post about putting in the numbers in the Tower from lowest to highest and then clicking on the symbol. I keep getting that is not the right combination as well. Kept trying on each of the items I have collected and it keeps coming to naught. When I first bought the game, had no problems, but why now?

Hi Everyone. I'm new to the game forum. Its a relief to know that I'm not the only one with this problem. Have followed all your suggestions, but am still not getting through. Help!!!!!

Deleted and re-loaded the game, but still used the same name. No luck. Then I deleted and re-loaded and changed to a new name and . . SUCCESS! Thanks everyone.
