Stand O' Food 2 - Released on August 01, 2008

I just want to say this game sucks but, could of been REALLY cool !!!
If they (the makers ) just would of thought of ADDING a garbage/trash can , for when you mess up...LMAO...I was so mad when I had to keep starting over again, EVERYTIME I grabbed the wrong combination...lol

Glad you posted this -- I thought I was going crazy. I played the trial for 12 minutes, restarted the game four time when I ended up mis-clicking and ended up with a stack of food. It could have been fun, like you say, but it's unplayable.

How did this make it through QA??

There was no garbage can in the first one either. What I found helps is if you purchase a few extra plates and this way if you pick up too much stuff you can put it down on a plate. Or, if you need something that's 3 items back, you can pick up the stuff in front of it and put that stuff down on a plate in order to get to what you need. You can always right click, too, to put items back and they will go back to the conveyor you got them from (at least that's the way it worked in the first version). Good luck to you.

In later levels you can also buy the boxes that let you pick up the items needed in any order. Garbage can is not really needed- it's the puzzle part of the game that makes it fun for me =)

Yeah Stand O Food isn't your typical time management game in that a big part of the game is using the limited pieces you have.

Fortunately, Stand O Food 2 has lots of helps, once you get the cash boxes to buy them. Buy the rescrambler robot first to rearrange pieces when you get stuck, because it puts them into pretty good positioning. The grapple robot is different in this game, because instead of letting you use it for a set amount of time, it's a set number of pieces which goes up each time you upgrade, so there's no hurry to use it if you don't need it right that second. The suction robot also helps because if you get flustered, you can click it and it will drop one or more pieces into your hand in the order you need them.

When deciding what upgrades to buy, I decided to buy ones that are usable on ALL level types (burger, lasagne, teahouse) so that I wouldn't lose the advantage they gave me when I switched to a new type. Plus, those robots are usefull on all level types! I just wish you could have them on the alien levels too, because I sure need 'em!

So, this is as much a puzzle or strategy game as a time management game, and that might take a little getting used to!

I do wish, however, that the game instructions were a little better. I've actually found quite a few typos in the limited instructions they did provide, and some of the items are reversed, for example the chocolate sauce is called sour-cream, and viceversa.

Overall it IS a lot of fun though!

I can't get through stand o food 2!!! I have been stuck in the pasta shop forever...am I not fast enough? can't get past 25 dishes!

Stand O Food 2 is for sure much harder then the first one but its still a lot of fun! I am stuck right now to I get all the dishes and serve everyone but still cant proceed guess I'm not making enough money! Still its fun!
