Collecting gems in relaxed mode

I wanted to answer oceanbum, but because of this new "locking discussions" policy, I can't. Hence this new discussion.

I dug around a bit because I noticed the same problem. And I don't have Windows 8, so that couldn't be it.

Apparently, gems collected during the HO scenes don't count in your gems total if you are playing in relaxed mode. Rather annoying, but there you go.

Instead you'll have to accumulate gems by solving the puzzles or buying them.
