using the scoop net in chapter 6

I have tried every way humanly possible to use the scoop net on the dock in chapter 6--CANNOT get it to scoop up the metal hook, so matter how many angles and different ways I've used! I'm so close to the end of the game and the Bonus Chapter, have found almost all the shamrocks, etc. This just frustrates me so badly! Any tips? I wrote to "Contact," and he said to try the forum.

I'm stuck too, really getting frustrated. Anybody?

Ok, so it appears I am not the only one having this problem. I am hopelessly stuck and this is the only post I can find regarding it. I too have tried varying ways of collecting what I need with net, but I just can't get it. However, there are two people on the dock in the way of the fishing pole. I don't know if I did something out of order, maybe that's why?

BTW...I did reinstall (with the updates available) and it didn't help.

Any ideas Fishies?
