Hello fishies!
The next time you download and install a game, you may notice an update to your Game Manager. We rolled out Game Manager v1.3.0.6 this morning, which includes the following features:
Strat guides and games can now be open at the same time!
There is now an Options menu at the bottom that will allow users to see what version of Game Manager you have, check for Game Manager updates, turn on or off the Large File Warning, change the location games are installed to, and change your network connection options.
Upon exiting either a full version or trial game, you'll have the ability to recommend the game a friend, gift the game, and visit the forum for the game. After exiting a full version game, you'll also be given the option to check out five recommended games.
 Windows 7 support!
Go check it out!Just install any full version or trial game and your Game Manager will update automatically. Your current Game Manager does not need to be uninstalled prior to the update.
Enjoy!

This sounds AWESOME! I know a lot of folks (myself included) like to put games in special locations without having to reinstall every time that changes. I realize that currently installed games may still need to be reinstalled, but at least new ones can go where you want them the first time now.
All the other options are ones I've seen requested here and they sound good as well.
Good work programmers!!

Thanks and bfgCelebes!
When you say Windows 7 support, does that mean the new version that is supposed to come out after Vista? (I'm such a computer naif!)

Boy, am I glad I found this thread.
I downloaded something today and it installed the new Game Manager first. Since it was an older game I thought maybe it was going to override my newer GM with an older one.
But when I saw it I knew it wasn't an old one cuz it didn't look familiar.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up.
Clearly, zombies have eaten too many of my brains!

Windows 7 is the replacement operating system for Vista from Microsoft.

I wouldn't worry about it lilyr. I just got Vista a few months ago. I have no plans to "upgrade" to the new one anytime soon. This one should last me for several years.

Yes, no worries about Vista, as Windows 7 is, from what I have heard, basically the fully finished and polished version of Vista.
What does concern me, though, is those of us who are still hanging on to Windows XP; I was thinking about this last night, and wondering how long Big Fish will continue to support it as an operating system. Hopefully for a good while longer.

Hey Howatch,
According to the Microsoft website, they plan to provide support for Windows XP until 2014. As long as Microsoft continues to support XP, Big Fish will as well.
