I've Got a Headache

I've got a headache from playing the Hardy Boys demo. I so wanted to like this game. But it is too difficult to tell what most of the objects are. They are small or either small and fuzzy.

I'm just so disappointed in all the bad reviews o this game I was really looking forward to it, but now I'm not even going to demo it

Teresa, I also had high expectations for this game. I figured it was a H O G with the quality of a Nancy Drew game.

Boy, was I disappointed. I demo'd the game for 10 minutes, and then got rid of it. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Glad I listened and didn't download it Although I can only play HOs for so long anyway because I have to lean to close to the screen and get a neck ache

I also was so disappointed with this game, only played a couple of minutes cuz I'm like barb, I have to lean so close in to the screen to be able to see the objects, it's just not a good quality game IMHO.

Thanks for heads up on this wont demo at all.

Some of my thoughts on this game.

Why were we making money to find an item? As far as I know there wasn't anything to buy.

Sometimes when I would use the hint button, I had to keep hiting it to find the item and still didn't find it at times. It was only up for a second. So I just started clicking on anything because I couldn't tell what it was. Then when I would find something, I had to look at the list to see what I found.

I sure hope this wasn't put out by Her Interactive that does the Nancy Drew games. If it is, I am sure disappointed in them for releasing this. I store bought the first Hardy Boys game. I haven't got around to playing it yet, but I sure hope it isn't like this. Before I knew BF was going to get this game, I had it on my Amazon wish list. Boy am I glad I didn't pay 20.00 for this.

Ughh... this game was one of the WORST I've played! Don't be fooled into thinking it will be like Nancy Drew. It had bad graphics, was pretty boring (actual gameplay and storyline) and those Hardy Boys can't shut up!! If you haven't already had the displeasure of playing, DON'T!!!

I have to agree---big disappointment. Being the Hardy Boys, I looked forward to it but the graphics are too bad and the hint button doesn't stay up long enough for you to see where it went! LOTS of dialogue.

You are right they should sell a pain reliever with this game,need I say more.

Totally agree with you teresarollen. I don't mind getting a hint and then thinking 'so THAT'S where it was'. But I hate it when you pick up an object and have to check the list to find out what's been crossed off cos you have no idea. Terrible game.

I wish I had read these forums before I bought the game. Maybe I should try to get my money back or ask to exchange for another game? Anyone tried doing that??

I just don't understand why, after finding all items, nothing happens. No "Complete", no nothing. It really is frustrating. At first I thought that maybe it was a glitch in the trial mode, so I purchased it, and at first it worked just fine. Then, a couple screens in, it starts again. Arrrgghhhh!!!!!! Send me the aspirin!!!!! Does anyone know if we can get our money back????

I want my money back!! Horrible game. Huge disappointment.

The Hardy Boys game is in no way connected to Her Interactive---thank goodness!
