Regarding Reports of Tournament Scores - November 30, 2016

[Post New]by bfgMurrumbidgee on Feb 20, 15 9:28 AM
G'day,

In light of the issues that we've been seeing with tournaments, and the impact it is having on our players, tournaments are being temporarily disabled in Midnight Castle. No further tournaments will run in the game after Midnight PDT.

Wit the help of our forum users and avid players we are well on the way to a permanent fix for the reported issues, and as soon as these issues are resolved tournaments will come back online for all platforms.

Thank you for your patience while we work on this. As soon as we know more we'll update the thread.

Hi Everyone,

We now have confirmation that tournaments are currently functional for both PC and Android, but we are currently still waiting for the iOS update to be approved by Apple. We hope that tournaments are now working as they should, but please don't hesitate to post in the designated tech threads and to reach out to our Technical Support Team if there are any difficulties.

We'll update this forum as soon as we have more news regarding the iOS update.

In the meantime, thank you all for your patience.

[Post New]by bfgWaimea on Jul 22, 15 1:49 PM
Hi Everyone,

Regrettably, tournaments for all platforms will be temporarily disabled as of Midnight PDT. Our team is working steadily towards a permanent fix for the issues surrounding the tournaments. We want nothing more than to be able to provide this feature, but as you can see this process does take some time.

We appreciate your patience and thank you all for sticking with the game. As always, the Forum Moderation Team will update this thread as soon as we have any additional news.

Hi there,

**Attention PC Players!**

The team needs your help in making sure that tournaments have been fixed. We're going to hold 6 tournaments on PC in near future: Thursday, September 24, Friday, September 25, and Monday, September 28 at 11 am and 1 pm PST. We invite you to participate and have some fun! Thanks!

G'day,

I wanted to pop in with a quick update about tournaments.

We are planning to resume the tournaments in near future and we want to remind our players that any cheating is against the Terms of Use

If the Midnight Castle team determines that a player is doing something that would violate these terms we would give them the one warning and any further violations would result un actions being taken against that account, up to and including a permanent ban from the game.

We appreciate your understanding and the forums team will post more information when we are notified about the return of tournaments.

Hi Everyone,

All of our teams here definitely want people to be able to enjoy the tournaments in Midnight Castle without experiencing glitches with scores or cheating. The frustration both these problems can cause is completely understandable, and we want to thank everyone who’s taken the time to report their concerns to the Customer Support Team.

Moving forward, we’re requesting that people please not report or discuss concerning scores in posts and threads. The forums unfortunately aren’t equipped with the tools needed to investigate situations like these. Additionally, we ask in our Forum Rules that people please refrain from drawing unwanted attention to other players in posts, specifically:

Treat others with respect. Harassing, attacking, threatening, provoking, calling unwanted attention to, name-calling, insulting, or bothering other users, moderators, or Big Fish employees on the forums will not be tolerated. Play nice.

By keeping those reports out of threads, we all can help to keep the forums comfortable and respectful for other players. Instead, if anyone notices a score that’s causing concern, we highly recommend reporting it to our Customer Support Team with a screenshot. Our Reps are able to look into the situation further, as well as pass issues along to the right team for follow-up. Steps on taking a screenshot and attaching it to your email can be found in the following help articles:

Attach a File to Your Email

Thank you all for your understanding in this matter. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM one of our active Moderators.
