Cannot get the puzzle to start

I have just downloaded the trial version. I can see one puzzle piece up in the left upper corner and examined all the helps below on the bottom. I clicked on the smallest puzzle but don't know how to get it started. please tell me how to start this game. Thanks in advance. There wasn't a help section.
