Go back for power-ups: A great feature in Time Quest is the ability to revisit previous levels to get extra power-ups. If you find yourself stuck on a particular level, revisit a level you already beat. Once there, play until you earn some power-ups, then go back to the level you’re stuck on. This will help a great deal with those tougher later levels of the game.
Move quickly: Since you’re playing against an opponent, don’t linger too long while playing or they will win. Move quickly, and keep an eye on your opponent’s board in the lower left hand corner, and when you can, slow them down with a power-up.
Focus on locks: On some levels, you’ll find pieces on your board locked, and are unable to move. Focus on matching these locked tiles with tiles of the same design to remove them quickly, or they’ll become a major roadblock. Also, be aware that there are power-ups in the game that allow you to lock some of your opponent’s pieces, and vice-versa. If your opponent adds locks to your board, get rid of them as soon as possible.
