Time Stand Still - Released on August 17, 2008

[Post New]by bfgFlounder on Aug 16, 08 11:00 PM
English detective Carol Reed has arrived and settled into her new apartment in Sweden. In a blink, she`s caught up in a messy chain of events dating back to World War II. Solve a 60-year-old murder case by visiting homes decorated with realistic dolls, knick-knacks, and photos. Collect items and store them in an inventory feature in Time Stand Still. Will Carol crack the case in this point-and-click murder mystery?

I haven't played it yet but I'm guessing that if it is anything like the other games that have the Carol Reed in them, you'll need to click on almot everything.

look at whatever you can, and be prepared to go back to locations more than once.

you can also try searching 'Time Stand Still" and tips or walkthrough

I got started on this game but..I am stuck already. Anyone know how to turn off the stupid radiator? I have the key in the place (I think) it goes but, I can't turn it to shut it off. Do I add water?

You need to put mug from kitchen under key in radiator.

I'm having the same problem Willoz... I've read through the guide to make sure I didn't skip anything (and I haven't) but the gardner isn't there by the water like he's supposed to be. Maybe it's a glitch?? If so, someone needs to fix it and FAST! I've been stuck for 2 days!

If the gardener isn't there fishing: Gameboomers.com - hints and help and see latest posting about this part of the game and suggested solution. I followed the suggestion and found I'd missed an action earlier in the game.

Is it possible to play any of the large games WITHOUT getting the strategy guide. I played NibiRu, and I felt that I was not really playing a game, but just reading a guidebook and following the plays. It's kind of frustrating to really not be able to solve the game without someone telling me how??? Just wondering about your thoughts here. I may not be clever enough for these games...
thanks

I played the game for less than five minutes and I loathe the game. The least they could have done was made new scenes. I played another game with the same scenes and I preferred it.
