My favorite game of this type, and one of the best-imo is "Gemsweeper".

Btw debbievt-welcome to the pond. Yes, I wish there were more of this type of game too. When I first started playing Gemsweeper, I seem to recall someone mentioning that this was a new version of an older game--I want to say Minesweeper. Never checked it out, but hey, might be worth a try.

Don't you just love clicking the nose on Gemsweeper-lol!!!

ddebbievt - welcome to the pond! Come join us often.

There is a whole category of games called "picture solving puzzles" out there. They don't have the storyline of a game like Gemsweeper, but they have tons of this type of puzzle. I can't give you the address, but if you google Conceptis and puzzles you'll find a whole new universe of this type of puzzle, and more. They're not games - they're puzzles. I think they're a lot of fun. If you try it, let me know what you think.

Loved World Mosaics and was sooo glad I looked in this forum because LOVE Gemsweeper and it had slipped past me. I am a little unhappy about the timer on Gemsweeper but hope it will stay as generous as it's been so far. If I ruled the world timers would *always* be optional.

Anyone know of other games of this sort here at Big Fish?

I am glad I found this game. I have memorized all of the Gemsweeper puzzles. I like it alot, although I find some of the puzzles nonsensical and I am not able to use deduction to figure out as much of the puzzles as with Gemsweeper. I look forward to a new Gemsweeper.

Hello from another fan of this game!

I just started the 20 by 20 puzzles, so I don't know how many more puzzles there are. A lot, I hope.

My only suggestion for this game is that I really wish there was some kind of scoring so I know how I'm doing. I did one 20 by 20 with no mistakes and no hints! Should have had a high score for that! lol Enjoy the game!

I hope they churn out a World Mosaic 2 and 3 as quickly as possible!!! I liked it even better than Gemsweeper because the grid and crossing out the patterns already completed got rid of needless counting and cross-referencing. It's a great break from most other kinds of games.

These games are on the theme of the paint by number puzzles, and they have been around for years. I really want to see more of them. Also, try webpbn.com they have lots of puzzles like this. Thanks for the tip on Conceptis
