time stand still--HELP!

I just bought time stand still, opened it and I can't get beyond the front door. Sadia keeps saying she made a sign for her. This game doesn't give you many instructions. Where is the folder anyway that gives more detail on how to play the game? I'm fairly intelligent but I'm beginning to regret I bought this game. I've bought several games of this type but this one is beyond me. I won't buy any more games without first being able to download them and play them for free first.
