Time Stand Still Strategy Guide

Just ordered this game and seemed to be quite confused. Is there any way to get the strategy guide at a cheaper rate since we purchased the game without a demo? Just thought I would throw that out there.

I tried to download the free strategy guide to see if I could learn the game as I too am confused by it - unfortunately after downloading I got an error message and couldn't open the guide - and I agree it should come with the game so a person can learn as they go

I agree, strategy guides should be included or discounted especially when the game gives no intro.

Why do we have to use our game credits for a simple hint file?
But it's all about the money

I could not open it in demo mode nor when I purchased it. How do you open this guide? This is just as confusing as the game.

Why do I have to pay more money to get the strategy guide for a game that I already paid for? This game gives no instruction other then read the "read me" file which was not in the game folder on my computer. There are no hints for first time players and no help screen....I am pretty upset that I wasted money on a game that I can't do anything with.....

Any advice would be great....

I finished the game and I posted a review in the "point and click adventure fans" post here on the "Time Stand Still" forum. I included a few general tips there too. I can help if you need it.

In order for the guide to work you need to download it to a different computer than the one the game is on.

You can chalk another lost puppy to the list-How do you even play this game? Purchased it today, guess I will wait for the backup cd for a clue-if there is one!!

I purchased the strategy guide and it's missing a page!!!! It jumps from figure 67 to figure 69 and you can tell by the dialog flow that it's missing a crucial step.

The last set of Instructions which is directly below picture number 67 goes as follows:

"Exit Adam's home and go back to the Liedburg home."

The following page jumps to :

"once the puzzle has been solved click anywhere on the box to reveal it's contents"
Which is directly above picture 69

Where is 68??

Who can I complain to about this, and how do I get my page (that I paid for) back so I can complete the game.

I purchased the game and downloaded, and couldn't find the read me file either.

I couldn't even find instrucitons on how to exit the game (sometime that option didn't show on the top menu bar!).

My last time in, I had to use CTRL-ALT-DEL to get to the ask manager to shut down the game, and it turned everything on my screen sideways! Even after I rebooted it was sideways! Weird...

I did a system restore, then a resinstall, but am just wondering two things....

One, how do you pause the game to get out of the screen with out exiting completely (is there an CTRL or ALT or F key that lets you pause or shrink the screen?

Second, how do you find the Read Me file?

The stategy Guide doesn't do anything and the game is real confusing on how to play. I am ready to ask for my money back on this. If you have to download the Guide on another computer that is absolute NONSENSE////////////////1 Why should you buy this and have to use someone else's computer to get it. Some thing is rotten in Denmark! Literally! I have complained and have not received an answer yet. Forget foreign games!!!!

Wow...after reading all the complaints......I think I WILL be getting a refund......This is crazy.......and the game sucks.

Ditto all of the above. This is the worst game I have ever tried to play and having to pay for the strategy guide is a true ripoff. Not up to BFG standards by any means.

My game opens up fine. The guide, however, would not open for the free trial nor will it open after purchase. I only own one computer so how am I supposed to put the guide on another one?! I have always had satisfactory results when contacting Big Fish with a problem. After reading their post, I wonder if I'll have good results this time.

I have just read the comments gamers have said It is a very awkward introduction to a game ,I have bought this game but I have not a clue as to save or as the others have said to load I now have had the reading of Strategy guide I am sorry I still can not understand where I have to proceed.
Any suggestions please??

I purchased the game. Had a few issues and tried to find the read me file. apparently (and I do know my way around computers) I did not get it in the download. I play many of these games without an issue but this one is either stuck or I am missing something. I would buy the guide but it seems after reading this that it is defective too. I have never had a problem with gamehouse before and have purchased many games. If you want to save I have to right click the mouse to get the drop down to save. Is it worth the money to buy the guide?
