cany get the glassshelf thing to move

can anyone help i have the knofe but i cant figure out how to reveal the brown partition. i have come in close and clicked everywhere HELP PLEASE

well, you are further than me. where the heck did you get a knife??

right well click and drag the knife down to the brown wall and just move it around you will have to do this twice to rip open the brown wall...make sure you drag the knife around though and not just click on it once as this leaves it in your inventory

oh and the knife is on a picnic table in the herb garden site-somewhere along the river
