I received a message that the game couldn't download because I needed to install Flash but the game had successfully installed on my computer. However when I exited the game and came back I also got the "profile corrupted" message and had to start all over again. Needless to say I didn't get far enough in the demo to test it properly and will not be buying this game. I was enjoying it until this happened.

At least some of you get the game downloaded, even if you aren't able to play it. I am using Vista, and have tried downloading the game twice. The 1st time, before it even finished downloading my computer gave me the message that there was a problem with a program that was downloading, and it was shutting down and re-booting. The second time I tried to download it, everything froze up on me. I wouldn't touch this one if it was given to me - at least until all of the bugs are worked out. Meanwhile, there are a lot of new games out now that are great, so I will be playing those while I wait for this one to be fixed.

Only downloaded trial, same xp problems ,saying there is a compatibility issue,which is a bit suprising. So glad to see othes posting same issues,as sad as that sounds . Will not buy unless a fix is posted by the Big Fish people.
A shame since the game really looked promising...

I have the same problem with corrupt profile, I run windows 7, I'm waiting for a fix before I buy.

when i try to play i get a message the game may not switch to window screen mode on current resolution - click ok to contine but the game locks up when i do - any help will be appreaciated

I'm running Windows 7 professional so it installed on the compatible mode. I played it well into Chapter 5 when it suddenly stopped playing.

I don't really care about whether or not it's compatible with multiple systems. If game programmers are creating games for today's computing world, they need to code them for flexibility with multiple systems.

I'm going to have to uninstall and reinstall this game. That bugs me because I was really enjoying it up to that point.

I downloaded the demo but am being told the trial has expired. I never even opened the demo. I don't remember playing this game before..and if it's new (like BF says it is), why is my trial expired?

So I can't do anything and of course I will not buy w/out trying.

ETA (8/13/10)--I uninstalled the demo, and reinstalled it using IE (as suggested in tech thread) and now I have 60 mins on the demo. So if this happens to someone else, try that.

If I close the game it will not re-open. I played the demo and then bought the game. I had to start again with a new profile. OK. But then I got up to chapter 6 and accidentally closed the game and now I cannot re-open it. Press "play" and it freezes.. Can't bear to start all over again! Hope there is a fix.

I paid for this game and I am pretty far into it, I have an error never seen before on any other game. It is telling me my profile is corrupted and to choose a new one.
So, Can I have my money back?

I play to chapter 2 and then nothing it goes to play again but nothing happens is a first for me with BF games and I have alot bought the game too

Hey Fishies,

You could also try to see if this is an issue with the ActiveX component in your system. If you'd like, try to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Flash using Internet Explorer as the web browser.

Because Microsoft is involved with both ActiveX and Internet Explorer, the compatibility is oftentimes successful.

I've had it too. I purchased S Swift new game and keep getting error message and can't play it. Still no fix from bf. Now this game! I wanted to buy it, but had a problem with the corrupted profile. The third time I just gave up. Bet this doesn't get fixed either.

Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that we continue to investigate this issue. We have spent all day out here in Seattle trying to reproduce this, as yet we have not been able to.

We will keep you informed of any advances that we make right here in the forums.

Prior to launch of this game (and again throughout today) we ran it through our compatibility lab – this lab has multiple computers (40+), running different operating systems and video cards and different processing speeds. We found the game to play well on all of these many machines – under no circumstance did we see the event some of you are reporting. So the problem being reported is providing us a challenge. But we are not giving up!

To help further we would greatly appreciate if you could send a Dr. Felix with your Customer Support ticket as this report provides us with the most useful information. First, download Dr. Felix, our Big Fish Games diagnostic tool, from here.

I tried the Demo & liked it so after my hour was done I used a game credit to buy it. When it installed it said my demo name was a corrupted file (No probs so tried deleting my demo name & Nope can't delete it...just started it again with a new name & no probs yet) xx fingers

There was a virus installed on certain Flash Player downloads recently. My advice, don't go to China or prOn or casino ads for Flash Player updates. Go to filehippo.com
They're clean.

I have that problem too. I'm running Vista. I am very disappointed. I'll wait for a fix, if there is one.

I tried to continue playing but the game won't start. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it won't work. Shame! I was really enjoying it too! Have contacted CS.

Hi - The demo worked fine for me and was really enjoying the game, so I decided to buy it. Played happily completing chapter 5, then decided to take a break. Tried to start again this morning ... loaded fine, Chapter 6 loaded until "click here to continue". I clicked, the screen went blank for a short while, then got a noise like a stylus scratching a record (shows my age!) and the game closed. No error messages - just taken out of the game. I have tried another two times and the same thing happened. Any suggestions?

Is seems a lot of people are having problems. So do I.
I get the following message:
