Oh well, I will try again...
If they don't have wood to cook the food they can't eat it. Could that have been what happened?

Pay attention to the pattern of the rings of flowers and complete the patterns with the missing flowers.
Hope that helps.

You only can use rainwater as a potion element when it is raining. You can make it rain by making a potion of stardust, seawater and fish

I get a similar error access violation everytime I try to sail my tribe to a new island. I can pick the island, and the game says it's sailing to my tribe, and then the error comes up and the game shuts down. I think my tribe will be dead before I successfully move them!
Hi, same problem here... Then I deleted the two *.baks files from the My Tribe's data folder ( C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local_Settings\Application_Data\Grubby Games\My Tribe Data). After that, I was able to sail to a new island and continue my adventure, finally.

I just wanted to say that I'm loving this game!
I am only on my first island and I am eagerly looking forward to travelling. Wonder if there really is over one billion islands...?
I love my little tribe! It's interesting to watch them grow, and I enjoy seeing their thoughts. Some of them really make me laugh The potions lab is fun to experiment with.
It's a lot like virtual villagers, which I also enjoyed. Hope they make VV 4!
Anyway, lots of fun. I think it will take me a long time to get bored with this.

I found a tombstone that I had lost under the palm trees, I had my wood cutters cut until the greenery was gone with only the trunk remaining then unclicked the harvest box, gets rid of the greens and you can see through the woods

I had a starvation problem recently, too. Only lost one tribesman to it, thankfully. It was weird because I had 3 or 4 fisherman, plenty of wood and when I came back to the game, everybody was just standing around starving. I had a couple of moondust so I just created food and that got everybody going. It was very strange though.
eta: Speaking of starvation, I just went back to check on the game after being away about an hour... 27 people died of starvation despite having plenty of fishermen, someone doing farming and plenty of wood. I just can't figure out what happened...

to soleve the tree, look at the rings of flowers around the tree. Notice some are missing? If you follow the pattern, and fill in the gaps with the right color flowers, you solve the mystery and are rewarded with a new color flower, 'orange'

If you would like to build a building you place the builing where you want it and you place a member of the tribe on it to start construction. You can speed up production by using stardust or moondust. I hope this helps!
