I haven't had a problem with any of my BF games, but got a Trojan removed message from McAfee when I tried to open one of my iwin games. Now I can't open the game at all  That's what I get for straying momentarily from  lol! This is the second time I've lost my Saqqarath game from iwin, the first time it just disappeared from my hard drive

This did not work. When I tried to install it it said I have no qualifying components or something like that. Also there are NO files in my quarantined section. Any Suggestions?
First this page would be useful as a sticky. Next well I did it! I could not update McAfee, so I crossed my fingers and restored my system to the 21rst and it worked. Have ALL of my games and progress was saved which just thrilled me. I am half through Dracula and would hate to start that one over, or the other half finneshed games.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE BF TEAM FOR BEING THERE! And for those who had helped with there feedback.

Now I can get back to cleaning before the horde gets here............well mabe just a "quick" game.

I'd like to add my thanks to this ever growing list. You've given me back my games for the holidays! I had so much free time on my hands yesterday I actually baked for my family!! Yikes! Now they'll expect it more often! Seriously, though, it is tremendously comforting to know that customers are so important to BFG that they'll come in over the holidays to make sure we've got fixes for our problems. Thank you BFG!

Thanks so much to all had a part in fixing this problem. I am truly grateful. I just hope I can get the game back. I know I can redownload, but it would be most wonderful if I could get it back from where I was instead of starting all over, but, that may be the best anyway. Oh well, again ..Thank you!!! And have a very Merry Christmas and good gaming, All!!

Nope nope nope. McAfee is still killing it. Cannot reinstall and cannot restore. Try to restore, McAfee will appear to restore it then kill it again. Problem not solved with 5473.

Still not working for me and it's already updated again today. I'm becoming very angry. I'm going to be contacting McAfee for the 3rd time in just a moment. They better be ready because I am one very unhappy customer. lol I can't believe I was told that it would be fixed by today. Damn liars!

Hi Carole ~ i'm in same boat as you,  games are all back which is great, but McAfee hasn't resolved this issue for other gaming sites, and my IWin games aren't working, when i click i get the trojan and glworker messages then page goes to trial time is over with the option to buy message, lol!
haven't looked into it figured i'm happy with these games working and i'd worry about the others after the holidays, but since you MIGHT get an answer as to how to fix, if you do, could you share here for others with same problem? not just bigfish and iwin but this problem affected several gaming sites, and whatever fix works for iwin might work for others too

 For those asking for a "love" poem for Big Fish, here it is: (Less time, shorter poem)
‘Twas Two Nights Before Christmas
‘Twas two nights before Christmas and all through the net
Big Fish were rejoicing and happy, you bet!
The Big Fish got tough with the McAfee crowd,
They told them to fix it, they told them out loud.
The gamers were happy and tapping all night
‘Coz the Big Fish technicians had made it all right.
The stockings were once again filled all the way
With great games from Big Fish, the heroes today.
Out on the forums, the news spread like fire,
With so many were reading, it burned up the wire.
The patches downloaded, the games reinstalled,
A happier feeling could not be recalled.
The gamers sent virtual drinks to the crew,

I just received an email from tech support at McAfee and they admit there is still a problem and the fix (new DAT) would be issued around 2 p. m. Central time. We'll see.

There already is a new one. DAT 5474 yet it still won't work for me. I don't get this and I'm about to explode. I've talked to 4 different people and it's all the same stuff every time. They cannot give me an answer to why when I try to install the update onto my computer it tells me "Error: Unable to find any qualifying McAfee Product(s)." Yet, obviously I have them seeing as it has quarantined that darn file! I just want to play my game that I have yet to play that I've paid for 2 days ago. Is that so much to ask?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, Big Fishies! I just got a new computer the day that the problems all started, so I couldn't do a system restore. I had had this problem at least 18 months ago, to no avail. I guess I must have been the only one, because McAfee kept pointing the finger at BFG and vice versa (now I know better; BFG is virus-free!) and NOTHING was done. I had to end up canceling my game club subscription because I couldn't play the games.
Well, now I can, but the games I had bought from other sites in the interim are not working. I'm stuck with McAfee for 3 years (Dell pushed McAfee off on my new computer; I had no choice!), or else I would get AVG Free.
Anyways, THANK YOU again from one more little fishie!
