Ok, so I couldn't hold out any more and have the game Seriously--what is up with the HOGs?!
I think it is much more challenging than the previous versions--which is good. Nothing like getting a game and being finished a few hours later. Took me the entire holiday weekend to get all the way around the board.
The challenges are a great mix and I have levels that are simply "completed" as well as silver and gold all the way around. In previous versions I would usually get all the way around with half silver and half gold and it was quite clear where gold ended and silver began.
I think the only thing I didn't like is there are many more "road blocks" so although the map is large you don't really have much choice about where your next move is.
I'll still get it when released by BFG, because most games on my son's computer are BFG and I'd like to keep it that way.
Time to go back and tackle the "completed" and silver levels...hopefully Chocolatier 3 is released before I have all golds!

I totally agree. I broke down and got it too. It is more difficult than the other two. I went thru the whole board with about 50% silver, 25% gold, and 25% just completed. I am going back thru now and have about 10 levels left that are just completed. The pizza levels are hard because they have 5 or 6 ingredients each and I always get confused.
I am glad they didn't have the gags this time. I was never able to get all the awards for FF2 because I never found all the gags.

It's all business, and rightly so. Alawar publishes this game which was developed by Melesta. Alawar has proprietary rights to sell it for a set period of time before anyone else can offer it. It's the same way with the new Chocolatier: Decadence by Design. PlayFirst developed it, so they get to sell it for six weeks before anyone else can. (I know, I asked them!)
Bottom line, then, count about six weeks from FF3's and C3's launch dates, then stand in line at 12:01 a.m. PST to use up your game credit here. It's worth the wait at any price, but in this economy, the wait just makes the game sweeter when it finally arrives here, and it saves us enough money to buy two more games at Game Club prices!
Dear, oh dear: you make an awfull lot of sence, pava. I mean it.!
6 weeks sounds reasonable.
As far as l'm concerned, Alawar released it on jan. 13; so over a month.
Wait six weeks that would make it to february 24.
Ah, that's a week from now. l think l just can handle that.
Might be able to finish Lost in Reefs in the mean time.
Or: would be nice if FFPP is reloadable from Playfirst.
But recently l've noticed that possibility gets cut out by game-makers.
Ji: being a gamelover can be hard sometimes...

I haven't had any glitches in the game so far, but have only played the demo time. I did purchase and plan on playing later.
