We are just rolling the store out now so its still in its early phases. You can purchase items worldwide but the shipping could be expensive so please take note before purchasing. (We do not mark up shipping prices at all mind you!)

Let me know if you have any issues with the store!

Hi all, I was so excited to see there was a BFG store, so I immediately ordered 3 items (1 magnet, 1 beach towel and 1 mug) for the grand total of around 25 $; since I live in Belgium P&P fees were calculated at around 29 $!.....don't need to tell you I cancelled the order (much to my regret, but I thought it a bit silly to buy 3 items and having them shipped to me when P&P is exceeding the amount of the purchase.... ). Think I'll wait till DD goes to LA for 2 months and have my order sent to her address...pff bummer!

Can anyone tell me, what the CVV is? The info button to the right doesn´t work for me.
Even the calculate shipping doesn´t work proper. lt shows only, what l´m going to order, but no shipping cost or taxes etc.

It worked fine for me hence I know the shipping costs are around 29$ (higher amount than my acual order of 3 items), since I'm in Belgium and you're in Germany...don't think those shipping costs will differ much (if shipping turns out to be much cheaper at your place I'll ship everything to your place and collect it there )

Thanks for getting the Gear Store open Big Fish!
I know many of us have been waiting for this day.

Some product suggestions

1. Different styles of pens and more than one color of ink. (I may be the only one out there who would want this but I’m a bit of a pen junkie )

2. T-shirts or Sweatshirts

3. I second the regular blanket suggestion

4. Drinking Glasses

5. Pajamas (Sleep shirts or Pants/Shorts with BF logo)

6. Canvas Tote bag or Messenger bag

7. Deck of Cards

8. You could also offer the products you’re already selling with the logos from some of the BF developed games (MCF, Drawn) in place of the BigFishGames logo.

I don’t know how many of these items are possible as product options or if other people would even be interested in them but I thought I’d throw all the ideas that came to me out there.

Maybe BF could do a poll here and on FB of all the suggestions you receive to see what a majority of the Big Fish fans would want to buy.

If the postage were not so much from the US (with possibility of extra customs charges at this end too), I'd buy a mouse pad and a mug. Add me to the list of those waiting to see if they eventually get a European depot, but pleased to see this store as a start .

Did anyone read any of the jokey descriptions? The mouse pad one refers to it helping to avert click-related tragedies .

weissvonnix wrote:l would like to see a normal blanket without sleeves. Honestly this one in the store may be useful, but it looks like a distressed cross-breed between a bathrobe and the zipper blanket my grandma used.. brrrrr.

Nix , I got a sleeved blanket like that for Christmas.

I had had cheaper versions before but they were poor quality fleece. The one I got this time (from the river site - trade name 'Slanket') is wonderful, made from nice thick fleecy material.

When it was really cold, with gale force winds so strong that the draught was coming in the windows, and the heating was taking an age to warm the house, I was very glad of it.

Mine is big enough to wrap right round behind me and cross over behind my shoulders (so the back of my neck is covered too) and long enough to tuck under my feet (basically big enough to use on a bed as a normal blanket).

My family scoffed at the idea, and it is true that it maybe looks a little naff wearing it but, in my own home, when it's a toss up between shaking with cold or risking a little naffness to be wrapped up warm and toasty, the blanket wins hands down (or should I say sleeves down ).

My kitties love it too - I often have to evict a kitty before I can use it (and they always make me feel like such a mean person when I do ).

If the quality of the BF one is anywhere near as good as the version I have, then I'd recommend it.

That reminds me, I meant to thank whoever it was who brought Slankets up in a thread about Christmas gifts because I had not heard of that brand. Was it Rabbit?

6. Canvas Tote bag or Messenger bag

Make it eco-friendly and this would get my vote. I use these kinds of bags from almost everywhere all the time. Something with the Felix logo would help your advertising department, too. Everybody wins. Including the planet.

Solice,

Over the last three years there have been several threads requesting specific items for BFG to offer in a store. Is it possible for someone at BFG to use the Search function and locate those threads? I do notice the current membership is requesting items that we'd asked for long ago so those items should be seriously considered. Though the Poopy undies may not be as popular with those who don't visit CCC and have a clue what that's all about.

Also, PayPal needs to be a payment option as many of us do not use credit cards.

@Daisy_May, glad that you like your "slanket".
For me the sleeves are very useless, because the only way to use blankets is to put them on my bed, if l get cold at night or just as cover. And l wouldn´t like to have any sleeves lying around and looking odd. So l would be very pleased with the normal kind of blanket.

Btw, the best blankets l got are microfibre ones. Never got anything more soft and snugly.

l also second the PayPal payment option. lt´s more than enough for me to give PayPal my visa card data. l rather don´t like to spread it to more than them and the i-Tunes store. One can´t be cautious enough.

How about a Big Fish gel Hand Exerciser aka a "stress ball". I used to have one when I was working and believe me I wore more than one out kneading the heck out of it when I'd get stressed or frustrated...LOL

This is great gear - I think all the suggestions made so far are good (except maybe the undies). But since it's a third party site that we would pay, I'm planning to wait until they offer a PayPal option. Or maybe I will set up a "games only" credit card with a small limit.

I would really love BigFish t-shirts and definitely a blanket. How about a Felix bobble head or big head Felix oh and some sweat pants and shirts and those magnet thingys for the car instead of bumper stickers with the BigFish logo. Okay that's enough for now I will probably think of more later.

I rushed to the Store and TRIED to order a bunch! But, the City/State and the Zip Code/Country boxes are on top of one another and I COULDN'T place an order.
Why do things always go wrong on the week-ends?

Anyways, thanks for bringing the BFG Store site to everyone's attention,Timebomb007.
BK

ETA: Finally managed to just type over the stacked boxes, and it worked. Have now placed my order.

On my order I did note on "Comments" bottom of order, the CVV whatever button doesn't work where it says What/s this?" I had to assume that it is the 3 digit security code on back of your cc or debit card so entered that. Makes me nervous as I've had my Visa debit card stolen twice and why I switched to PayPal for most vendors. I don't store cc billing info on any site but BF and type it all in each time online. (First ID theft was not me but my credit union got hacked so was sent new #, second time it was someone hacking a store, and copped it online.) And, I only shop on pc not my laptop, have a cable connection on pc.

Maybe time to time BF will still offer premiums for buying x amount of games as a few years ago when I got stuff. There is no postage charged (or wasn't) for free goodies probably absorbed by cost of games. That way offshore buyers could win them and not pay postage. Or, order lightweight stuff.

Would be nice if the old keychains of Felix were still available. I think they were limited editions, 4 styles. I only got in on it with the last where he has a Sherlock cap and magnifying glass in fin (not for my use though)

Product - magnifying glasses, either the handled detective style or the fold back flat ones. Ii use them all over (reading phone book to not look for reading glasses. The promo blub could be "To use reading the fine print on joining or promo qualifications" or insurance policies or others' wills. (or my own handwriting, or teeny object HOS)

Eco friendly shopping bags as more and more towns are making plastic bags illegall or be charged by stores at checkout. I've used the flat bottom folding ones a couple years and some stores give 5c back for every bag you use of your own. The canvas tote bag types are awful for setting down and topple over. I got mine online and see them all over on ebay with different logos. Mine are goagainbags, and one long folding one with wheels with their logo. They are some special clothlike eco friendly fabric. Plastic bags take an enormous amount of petroleum to produce, bad for economy. Not to mention landfills or all over beaches even if they say biodegrades, not the point.

I use big coffee mugs, 10 oz, coffee maker Brew n Go one mug at a time. I use an elec coffee warmer as the go alum mugs or plastic don't heat on a warmer. I hope the 12 oz is just fatter and not taller than my 10oz mug, didn't list dimensions and work for 10 oz or I have to brew in a small teapot to pour

Someone mentioned micro fleece or micro plush rather than reg fleece for blankets. Altho the fuzzy surface may not be one for printing logos, like regular "fleece" The micro plush is sooooo soft, warmer, launders without piling, lightweight. I have several blankets of micro and shoulder wraps, long with pockets I use in chairs or bed all winter. I won't buy "fleece" anymore unless 100% cotton as in sweats. I think it is the part polyester that piles with wear or laundering. I'm picky, fleece has come to mean different things. Microfiber is also fabulous for smooth, lightweight and wear.

The cozy wrap was not really specific re fabric content. Fleece like sweats can be printed, not fuzzy on top. I like anything I buy online to include size, dimensions, inches for me, don't understand metrics without doing math.

btw love my one cup (10oz Brew n Go maker) so each cup is fresh, not sitting awhile in a heated caraff. The go mugs are great for cold bevs but not to stay on a warmer. I have an alum water canteen in a shoulder strap case I never leave home without refilling it or I'd get BF one. Oh, too big it gets heavy for me though, I dehydrate easily per my age, of course coffee and tea does that too.

Oh enjoy the fun like we enjoy buying games Pay the postage and save your gas and wear and tear, treat yourself. I do.

How about a clock to know what time is DD and TGT time, and the day (Thurs and Sunday for CEs, double price day LOL) I can't live without mine with time, day, date, indoor temp and cheap on ebay. For us retirees it's not easy to know what day it is not having to dress for work. With a cozy blankey don't even have to dress, right???. Oh yeh how about a countdown alarm for 55 min deadline for DDs at 11:55pm PST.

Also a 60 min timer option to alert you time used on demos before you time out (or doze off like I do and miss half of the demo), say a 30 min warning? Gawd I'm a mess when alone. Telling my secrets here, is it Halloween already? That spooky sale snapped me to attention, oh, Friday 13, and first order from the new shop. so wish us trailblazers luck. Got my email confirm but no tracking date for shipped yet.

Would love to get the notesbook, but it's rather large the one they have, would be nice if BF would sell one that's only 5"x7"
