I originally posted this in the iOS section and figured out it was the wrong area....

I am having the same problem that one of your original posters had.
It is a quest from Prof. Pinfeathers. Find a Seal of Courage and go to the tower.
The item is in my inventory but is not checked off on the quest. The locked door to the tower in the chamberlain's room DOES show 1/1 but I cannot click on the check mark. Also purchasing the item with diamonds does NOT get me around the glitch like it did for a friend.
I am playing Midnight Castle on a Kindle Fire HD.
My friend code ID is: a274078

Since this post I've been gifted another Seal of Courage and it still has not changed the number shown in the quest box. Please let me know if there is a way to fix the glitch or get around it. I'd hate to have to uninstall the game and start fresh just to hope that I don't get stuck again on the same thing. I have read the help pages for the android version of the game and from what I can tell I do have the updated version.

Just a thought -- on t the top of the bobbing lock bubble is a shied with a number in it - that's the level you need to be at before you can unlock the area; I think it was level 10 or 11 to unlock the Forbidden Tower. The level you're at is just below your avatar. I'm also playing on Kindle Fire, and I managed this okay. Hope this helps.

Hi Forensicbio1,
If you are playing on android, the update was not for you, just for PC players. My guess is that iOS players will get the update next. Android users haven't gotten an update since before Christmas. I have no idea how the update would work on the android.

P.S. Love the name! Maybe you'd like to take a scalpel to the BF  and see if it actually has a heart. Ouch!

I am playing on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 and there is a problem with the Achievement count. I count that I have 70 achievements and it's showing 68. Will that be fixed in the update?

Were you able to get any help for this issue?
I am also playing MC on a Kindle Fire. A player since early January, I've made it to level 20, but not without difficulty.
The biggest problem is posed by the frequent cutouts. In the beginning, the game hardly every stopped to reboot; now, it stops to reboot almost every time. In the last week, I've lost gifts, flowers, coins, achievements, crafted items, game winnings--you name it, I've lost it.
I would really like to know if anything can be done to prevent the cutouts.
Otherwise, I'll probably stop playing. It's simply too frustrating to try, over and over again, to recover game position after a reboot.

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, I was not able to find a solution. Tech Support did suggest a few ideas, which helped but did not stop the problem. I would strongly urge you to contact them, because they might be able to help, and at least you will let them know it's an ongoing problem. The link to Tech Support is posted earlier in this thread. I simply exit the game when I get something important or after a series of 10 or so HOS, and then log back in a few minutes later. I am at level 36, so I have a lot invested, and I really want to continue with this platform because the graphics are so clear and I love the ease of a touch screen. I'm really hoping that they'll add a "save game" button in the next update. If you decide to keep at it, which I hope you will, and you get frustrated or need to vent, please feel free to PM me.
